Gentle Shepherd Daycare was opened as a result of employees reaching out to Bart Rudolph for help.  Kids Kare which had been operating the Daycare for 10 plus years was a victim of Covid 19 and could no longer see the feasibility of maintaining the Kevil location. Kids Kare closed the doors on Oct 16^th 2020

When Bart Rudolph was approached by the Director, Denise Hunter to possibly takeover the daycare, he looked at it as an opportunity to help save jobs and serve a need for the community. Gentle Shepherd is the only daycare in Ballard county and without it, many families are forced to seek childcare many miles further away.

Our primary goal for Gentle Shepherd is to be the premier daycare.  We will put resources into the facility, children and employees to assure we accomplish our goals of being the daycare destination for families in not only Ballard County but surrounding counties.
